I was babysitting a two year old today, and she kept on pointing to the tub and muttering something incomprehensible. She kept on repeating it, and all I could understand was “agua” (she doesn’t know the word water, she knows it as agua).
Her parents came home, and she said it again. When I asked if they understood, they laughed and said, “she’s saying ‘Freddy will get you in the water’. Nightmare On Elm Street is her favorite movie”.
