There’s this lady on my team who a bunch of us carpool with and I would’ve called myself friends with her. Well, she cannot play because she is not considered an active member because she missed 3 weeks of practice. Therefore, she is not eligible to bout on June 9th. Well, she found out about this and became super pissy because she didn’t know that (FUCK YOU. TELL ME. IF YOU CAN TELL ME YOU WOULD HAVE CANCELED YOUR VACATION SO YOU CAN BOUT, THEN YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BE PISSED. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE PISSED IF YOU WOULDN’T HAVE CHANGED YOUR ACTIONS)*.

So, Ms. Pissypants goes to the board and says, “I’ve read the bylaws and *mentions several teammates names, including myself* cannot play either because according to the bylaws they are not consider active members because they did not make it to 75% of the fundraisers.”

How the fuck do you throw your teammates and friends under the fucking bus. Here’s the thing, too. I’m not even sure she really likes derby. She’s doing it for the friendships or whatever the fuck. Possible exercise. I FUCKING LOVE THIS SPORT WITH MY WHOLE SOUL AND THE ONLY THING I WANT TO DO IS PLAY IN A BOUT AND SHE MAY HAVE RUINED THIS FOR ME.

It’s extremely hard for me not to punch her in the face at all times. And she talks a lot and every time she talks I can feel myself clenching my fists. Doing that to someone who you consider a friend is really, really, really shitty and I don’t want anything to do with her anymore. I’ll be cordial and nice, but that’s it.

God damn, I cannot wait until she gets back on skates.
